Event Description

An important update (4/26/2020)

We love beer fests but we love you more and won’t do anything to compromise your health. That being said, there will be no in-person Thread City Hop Fest this year.

We are exploring options for you to Hop Fest at Home but in the meantime let’s get you all your money back.

If you purchased your tickets online:

You will see a credit from Fests, LLC within up to 21 business days. If you have questions please email [email protected].

We are aware of the Executive Order given by Governor Lamont regarding public events and are in the process of securing an alternate date for the Thread City Hop Fest this year. Hang tight, beer drinkers!

The Thread City Hop Fest is celebrating 7 years of cheers and beers on Sunday, April 26th from 2 - 6 pm on Jillson Square (645 Main Street) in Willimantic!

Tickets are $35/per person in advance, or $50 at the gate (if any remain). (Proper ID will be required.) Attendees will enjoy samples from over 45 breweries from throughout New England. Tickets are limited!

SOLD OUT! Introducing the all-new Thread City Hop Fest VIP Experience! $60 includes admission to the Hop Fest. We’re teaming up with T&M Distributors and CLiCK this year to make your Hop Fest perfect! VIP runs from 1:00 until 6:00 PM. T&M is helping us reimagine the Shaboo Stage area on Jillson into an outdoor living room just for you. Furniture and games? We’ll have that. Musicians playing just for you? We’ll have that, too when Bruce John joins us from 1:00 until 2:00. VIP guests will enjoy appetizers from Azuluna Foods throughout the day and in the first hour, Willibrew will have a special beer just for you. VIP guests will be greeted by David Wollner, the award-winning Brewer/Owner at Willimantic Brewing Company. Please note that VIP does sell out.

The Thread City Hop Fest is organized by the Willimantic Brewing Company on behalf of Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. Proceeds from the Hop Fest benefit The No Freeze Project, Willimantic Renaissance, Inc. Vulturetown Arts, Windham Area Interfaith Ministry, Covenant Soup Kitchen, and Horizons, Inc.

Please be prepared to show ID at the gate.

The Hop Fest is rain or shine!

We ask that you not bring dogs or children to the event.
